Crochet Items, new toms!

WELL, hello AYYO! It has been a busy holiday season and I am finally ready to jump back into Ayyo. I have had several crochet orders but I will only post my favorites, so I don't clog up the blog :).  I looove the baby ugg inspired boots and the little monster hat :). So much fun to expand and do something different!

I also am got a new pair of TOMS for Christmas and had to share :). I love them so much. Right on time too because my last pair is getting a little worn out. I hope you all had a fabulous Holiday season with your families. I can't wait to get started on the new year with lots of new craft ideas and maybe just maybe an appearance by Libby???

This is for 6month old Avery :).

This is Lindsey's order for her pregnant friends. I love the way

the black and hot pink hat turned out (good idea Lindsey!)

This is Kelly's order for her prengnant friends. I tried something new

with the purple hat's flower. I think it's adorable!

This order was for a pair of peacock hats for sisters. The top one is

for a five year old the bottom is for a four month old.

It's that time again. It's getting colder and more orders are coming in. I am so excited to

 show you the new hats and booties I've made!

Baby 'B's goods

My cousin and his wife are expecting their second child and I was so excited when she

asked to make some cute items for her! I had so much fun making this order because

I got to make something new and I made a surprise item that I know they will love!

 

My cousin's growing family is by far the biggest husker fans I know!

So how could I not make a husker hat for Baby B!

I love the way these booties turned out!

This was my first baby 'elf' hat and I can't wait to see it

on the new baby!

These are the finished baby boy blankets I made for my mom. She asked me to make them for a few upcoming baby showers. I really like they way they turned out! The blue and brown blanket was super think and soft. The thicker yarn also works up faster ;). The white and blue one was a typical baby yarn which took a lot longer to make but it is very light and stretchy. Always feels good to get big projects done!

and finally the finished product! I have been looking into donating baby

blankets to charities after I finish a few more blankets. I have three completed so

Granny Square Update!

You'd think after 16 hours in the car and a rainy day at the cabin I'd be a bit farther along, but this is what I've got. Right now we're sitting just shy of 100 squares. Thinking about tossing another color in the mix, maybe some green? Eh? Eh?

And so it begins.

This weekend Laura taught me how to make granny squares ... now it's all I can think about! So, here it goes, my first granny square blanket, shoot this might be the first crochet project I ever really complete (but let's not get ahead of ourselves.)
